Anoka, MN (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)

Salary Range: $99,600 – $139,500

We’re seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to help ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our financial reporting while driving efficiencies in a dynamic environment. This role reports to the Director of Accounting.

What You’ll Do:

Technical Accounting & Compliance

• Research complex accounting issues and prepare high-quality technical accounting memos under US GAAP (with exposure to IFRS).

• Monitor new and updated accounting standards and lead their implementation.

• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, coordinating with auditors, and resolving findings efficiently.

Financial Reporting & Close

• Oversee preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, reconciliations, and journal entries.

• Assist with month-end close, consolidation, and timely communication of results to stakeholders, including our parent company (CSG).

• Review account reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Manage and develop direct reports, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career growth opportunities.

• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency.

• Collaborate cross-functionally and support special projects or system implementations (e.g., Dynamics 365 enhancements).

• Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with teams at all levels.

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field).

• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for memos, reports, and stakeholder interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification.

• 4–6 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm strongly preferred), or equivalent industry technical accounting experience.

• Prior leadership or mentoring experience.

• Manufacturing or multinational company background.

Pay Range:

$99,600.00 - $139,500.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
