Job Description
The Role
Weatherford is seeking an R&M Master Scheduler to support our Repair & Maintenance operations in West Java, Indonesia.
This role is responsible for developing and managing the 30/60/90-day Master Production Schedule to align operational demand with R&M capacity, resources, spare parts availability and workshop priorities. You will play a critical role in translating demand from operations into a structured maintenance schedule, helping ensure repair activity is planned, prioritised and delivered efficiently.
Working closely with Product Line Operations, R&M, Supply Chain, the planner hub, schedulers and regional demand planning teams, this role will act as a key link between forecast demand, capacity planning, material readiness and execution.
This is a highly visible planning role where your work directly supports repair cycle time improvement, spare parts readiness, cost control and overall R&M performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 30/60/90-day Master Production Schedule aligned with operational demand and R&M capacity
- Translate forecast demand into a practical repair and maintenance plan
- Plan and prioritise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities based on demand, backlog, capacity and criticality
- Monitor capacity versus load and identify risks or gaps in labour, equipment, materials or execution readiness
- Coordinate closely with Product Line Operations, R&M, Supply Chain and planning teams to ensure schedule alignment
- Support spare parts readiness and material availability for repair and maintenance activity
- Monitor fill rate, stock availability and potential spare parts shortages
- Provide visibility on R&M costs, including forecasting, tracking key cost drivers and recommending improvements
- Identify and escalate supply, material or capacity risks, including potential mitigation actions such as resource reallocation or outsourcing
- Maintain planning transparency through clear reporting, documented assumptions and weekly escalation updates
- Lead or support regular planning discussions with operations to understand forecast activity and upcoming workload
- Support continuous improvement across R&M planning, scheduling and execution processes
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in production planning, service planning, master scheduling or maintenance scheduling
- Proven experience managing mid-term scheduling within manufacturing, service operations, oil & gas, mining, heavy equipment, automotive, truck, industrial equipment or similar environments
- Strong capacity planning, scenario planning and demand planning capability
- Experience working with scheduled and unscheduled repair and maintenance activity
- Strong ERP/MRP system experience; JDE, SAP or Oracle preferred
- Experience in DRP and S&OP environments preferred
- APICS certification, CPIM or equivalent would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven planning decisions
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working cross-functionally with operations, supply chain and workshop teams
- Detail-oriented, structured and able to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Clear communicator who is comfortable leading planning meetings, challenging assumptions and escalating risks where needed
