Position Summary:
Responsible for launching, scaling, and managing a high-impact fundraising clothing drive program that drives community engagement and yields high-quality donated goods for GWH. Building lasting partnerships with nonprofit and community organizations, developing customized donation drive strategies, and leads high-volume event execution to achieve ambitious growth and retention goals.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Launch and expand a Greater Houston-wide fundraising clothing drive program, driving scalability and consistent growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic fundraising initiatives aligned with organizational donation goals.
  • Identify new partnerships and market expansion opportunities to increase program reach and impact.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a large portfolio of nonprofit and community partners (100+ organizations).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing guidance on donation drive strategy, donor engagement, and campaign execution.
  • Cultivate and maintain high-retention relationships with nonprofit leaders, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
  • Build and manage pipelines of prospective partners and community collaborators.
  • Design customized donation drive strategies tailored to each partner’s mission, audience, and goals.
  • Grow the fundraising donation drive program through community outreach, donor engagement, and partnership development.
  • Support donor recognition and stewardship initiatives to enhance long-term relationships.
  • Monitor donation performance, track key metrics, and optimize strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Plan and execute a high volume of donation events, ensuring seamless logistics and coordination.
  • Ensure events align with fundraising objectives and deliver strong donation and engagement outcomes.
  • Provide partners with tools, resources, and training to effectively host successful events.
  • Represent GWH at community events, conferences, and partner engagements to build awareness and visibility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and donors.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the organization’s presence within target communities.
  • Train nonprofit partners and stakeholders on donation drive best practices, donor engagement strategies, and campaign execution.
  • Provide ongoing support, coaching, and resources to improve partner performance and results.
  • Develop scalable tools, templates, and training materials to support program growth.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management to support evolving organizational needs.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, partnerships, or community engagement.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven track record of donation growth and program expansion.
  • Experience managing high-volume events and multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage a large portfolio of partners and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Must have a valid TX Driver’s License.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for current or future employment. GWH does not offer visa sponsorship for employment purposes. 
 
Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
  1. Develop, finalize, and launch GWH’s fundraising donation drive program in the first ninety (90) days
  2. Top thirty (30) target organizations and geographic areas identified in the first sixty (60) days
  3. Fifteen (15) new nonprofit partners in the first six (6) months
  4. Minimum of 22,500 lbs. of donations raised in the first six (6) months
  5. Forty (40) recurring community partners in the first year
  6. Donor Strategy Development: Completion and approval of a comprehensive donor cultivation and stewardship strategy plan in the first sixty (60) days
  7. Solicitation Campaign Strategy: Development and documented test results of targeted donation solicitation campaigns in the ninety (90) days
  8. Long-term Strategic Plan: Implementation of a long-term targeting strategy based on campaign test results in the first ninety (90) days
  9. Partnerships and Acquisition: Development and 90% retention of new partnerships and completion of targeted donation goals in the first eighteen (18) months
