Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join our team in New York, supporting our NYC-based teams. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing day-to-day guidance while driving key people initiatives as part of a global People & Culture team.
YOUR MISSION:
Serve as a strategic and operational partner to the business by understanding current needs and anticipating future people, culture and office priorities
Collaborate closely with leadership to shape culture, drive performance, and support key organizational initiatives
Own the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, hiring and onboarding
Partner with the global People & Culture team to design and implement initiatives that enhance the employee experience
Manage our Office Manager / Executive Assistant of GM & EIC
Contribute to cross-functional and international HR projects and initiatives
Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering guidance on employee relations, career development, and performance management
Support and execute recurring HR processes, including performance cycles and payroll coordination
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR systems, employee records, and documentation
Stay informed on evolving labor laws and HR best practices, ensuring compliance and thoughtful implementation
Manage all employee-related documentation, including contracts, visa processes, and handbook updates
YOUR SKILLS:
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in the U.S., ideally within an international and multicultural environment
Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and support leaders and teams effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Solid understanding of New York State labor laws, with a proactive approach to staying current
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Experience in a creative, media, or digital industry is a strong plus

The range is based on many factors including location, experience, and relevant skill set. In addition to salary and an employee benefits package, successful candidates will be eligible for variable pay.
