Job Purpose/Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day management of tenant and capital improvement projects including but not limited to permit processing, submittal reviews, managing architects, consultants, and general contractors for B. F. Saul REIT & Saul Center projects.

Essential Job Functions of the Senior Construction Project Manager:
- Oversight of construction projects under their supervision
- Compile conceptual budgets/competitive bids
- Coordinate with building architect / MEP for preparation of contract documents
- Manage the bidding and award of process for all assigned projects
- Initiate and secure Senior Management approval of construction expenditures
- Coordinate and assist retail and office tenants with space plan and construction document preparations
- Substantial completion walk-throughs
- Coordination with tenant’s contractor(s) and /or tenant to ensure timely possession of space by tenant
- Process tenant and vendor invoices
- Contract enforcement and project close out
- Coordinate with A&E team for RFI and Submittal review and action as required
- Cash Flow Forecasting and draw reviews for base building projects with Accounting and Lenders
Required Experience / Education / Certifications of the Senior Construction Project Manager:
- 5-8 years project management experience working for a general contractor or owners representative with emphasis on retail and office tenant improvements
- 4-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience
- CCM (Certified Construction Manager) and LEED AP would be a plus
