Come join the Centralized Transport team at Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.
Position Purpose:
Under direction of the Director, Patient Transport, individual will transport patients and visitors to destinations throughout the hospital via the mini cab (golf cart) in a safe and timely manner.
What you will do:
Demonstrates a commitment to consistently provide the highest quality services in a professional manner.
Transport patients and visitors to desired locations in a timely and safe manner following proper departmental procedure.
Contributes to the achievement of excellence following hospital and departmental guidelines.
Environmental and Working conditions:
Position requires ability to frequently assist in the lifting of objects/individuals, perform moderately difficult manipulative, gross body and hand-eye coordination skills; and sit for prolonged periods of time
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma Required
Customer service experience required & previous golf cart driving experience desired.
Licensure: Valid driver’s license
Effective organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary; ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
