Are you an experienced maintenance leader ready to take ownership of site reliability and performance? Join Tip Top Bakeries and drive operational excellence, asset performance and continuous improvement.

 

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you’ll lead the maintenance and reliability function, ensuring safe, efficient and productive operations. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will influence strategy, lift performance and build strong alignment across teams.

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Ensure 24/7 plant reliability and minimise downtime through proactive maintenance strategies
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of reliability supervisors and trades professionals
  • Foster collaboration and alignment between Operations, Warehouse and Maintenance teams
  • Drive improvements in OEE, asset performance and operational efficiency
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs and optimise maintenance planning (MEX)
  • Manage repairs & maintenance (R&M) budgets, capital planning and cost reduction initiatives
  • Champion safety, food quality and continuous improvement

 

About You

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Trade qualification (Electrical or Fitting) or Engineering degree
  • Strong experience in maintenance leadership within FMCG or manufacturing
  • Proven track record in preventative maintenance and asset reliability
  • Experience managing budgets, contractors and capital projects
  • Strong leadership capability with a focus on engagement and team development
  • Strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement
