Core Job Responsibilities: 

Trane Technologies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented PIM Project Engineering Lead to support product imaging, digital asset quality, inventory coordination, and related product content processes. This role is responsible for helping ensure product photography, metadata, and inventory workflows are accurate, complete, and aligned with established quality and operational standards.

This role supports photo editing, image recapture coordination, inventory tracking, reporting, and project execution within a high-volume product environment. The position works closely with photographers, material planners, engineers, the Adobe Manager, and other cross-functional partners to ensure the timely completion of product image and inventory-related initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the editing of photos captured using PhotoRobot and ensure final images meet quality expectations and established standards
  • Review, approve, and prepare photographs for export based on quality and accuracy requirements
  • Communicate recapture needs, support guideline updates, and participate in coaching opportunities with photographers to improve output quality
  • Identify SKUs requiring recapture and coordinate recapture projects through completion
  • Maintain and update the master inventory list, including productivity measures and taxonomy-related project information
  • Collaborate with material planners, engineers, and other stakeholders to support efficient inventory management and project prioritization
  • Manage low- or no-inventory projects and ensure timely completion of associated tasks
  • Oversee and coordinate PhotoRobot projects to completion, particularly projects with low SKU counts
  • Support workstation reassignment activities and help ensure operational continuity
  • Assist with data analytics and reporting to provide insights that support planning and decision-making
  • Create, organize, and maintain asset files and metadata documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Utilize systems such as Windchill and Oracle to support product data management, tracking, and process execution
  • Support process consistency and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and practices
  • Partner with engineering teams to collect, validate, and organize product-related specifications and support information
  • Maintain close collaboration and communication with the Adobe Manager and other cross-functional partners
  • Perform additional administrative, reporting, and project support duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with photo editing, image quality control, inventory management, project coordination, and data analysis is preferred. Experience working with Windchill, Oracle, and engineering documentation or product data is highly preferred. Prior exposure to Lean principles, continuous improvement practices, and cross-functional operational processes is also beneficial. Experience supporting digital assets, product content, taxonomy, or e-commerce workflows is a plus.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$84,740.00 - $118,860.00
