Flow Controller - Night Shift

Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off - NIGHTS 18:30 - 06:30
Location: Derby - DE74 2BB

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLV

• Monitor automated warehouse systems, proactively identifying issues and escalating faults directly to engineering teams while communicating impacts and expected downtime to management
• Coordinate daily warehouse flow, including outbound operations, load allocation, and ensuring efficient movement of stock through the site
• Track and report outstanding orders, supporting operational visibility and ensuring timely dispatch performance
• Communicate planned maintenance activities and operational updates to relevant stakeholders across the site
• Manage a high volume of administrative and system-based tasks, including responding to emails and liaising closely with warehouse teams to maintain smooth operations

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have experience in a warehouse administration or operational support role within a fast-paced environment
• Have worked with or overseen warehouse automation systems and understand automated workflows
• Are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a systems-driven role
• Are customer-focused and able to prioritise service levels in a constantly changing environment
• Have experience using warehouse systems (ideally Blue Yonder and Matflo ) and possess strong communication skills to liaise with teams, engineers, and management
