Job Description:
The Maintenance Machinist duties include, but not limited to:
- Must have significant experience in operating production machines
- Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment to determine malfunction and need for adjustment or repair
- Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment
- Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools
- Currently holds a journeyman machinist card or the equivalent of 6 years direct manual machinist experience
- Full understanding of manual lathes, surface grinders, and related shop equipment
- Good mathematical skills
- Proficient with micrometers, calipers and indicators
