Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a new colleague to join our supply chain and indirect procurement team. This role will support the indirect procurement function, supporting mainly France, Switzerland, wet Africa and additional EMEA field offices.  This position reports to Supply Chain Manager EAME, collaborates with internal buyers, business stakeholders and liaises with external suppliers in the EMEA region.

What will be your tasks?

• Running daily business in Indirect Procurement, RFQ, invoice issues resolution, market research and benchmarking, evaluation of quotations, claims resolution, etc.
• Assure compliance with established purchasing policies and procedures and legal requirements
• Manage and Facilitate negotiation, contract review and signing process
• Actively involved in varied projects in support of business objectives: cost reductions, process streamlining, supplier governance and risk mitigation
• Supplier Relationship Management, onboarding, development and contract management
• Leads the communication on ordering policies with suppliers including potential business trips to suppliers within EMEA
• Responsible for processing purchase orders, resolving chronic delivery issues, and supporting in resolving discrepant material issues.

• Perform data analysis on spending and supplier base to identify opportunities for cost reductions, sourcing activities and supplier consolidation.
• Maintain data accuracy in information systems (e.g., ensure dates are up to date, part set-up, lot sizes, etc).

Who are we looking for?

• You have at least Bachelor’s degree or demonstrable equivalent experience in a related field
• Somebody with at least 3-year experience providing solid understanding of Indirect Procurement and Supply Chain principles.
• Somebody with Contract Savvy, detail oriented and aiming to keep the highest quality standards.
• You communicate in both English and French. Italian would be considered as advantage.
• You display skills in Project Management and are comfortable with performing data analysis.
• Good PC skills (MS Excel and ERP systems - Experience with Coupa system is preferred)
• Positive and ambitious person, interested in learning new things and contributing to success of whole team.

This position requires a 5-days in office schedule.

Base Minimum Pay:

Kč1,112,580.00

 

Please note that salary is only one component of the total compensation and benefit package available at Caterpillar.

 

 

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
