Senior Accountant
Job Description
The Senior Accountant is responsible for general accounting functions including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and P&L guidance for Restaurant Leaders. The Senior Accountant will support month-end and year-end close processes, analyze financial data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial operations.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external regulations
- Support and lead month-end and year-end closing activities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Answer P&L questions from Restaurants and Restaurant Support Office Crewmembers
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
- Microsoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Financials experience
