Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor leads a team of pharmacy technicians that assist pharmacists and pharmacy manager. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor oversees daily pharmacy workflow and pharmacy technician schedules to ensure the needs of the business and customer service standards are maintained and in compliance with state and federal regulations. In addition, the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor leads, supports, develops, and evaluates pharmacy technicians while upholding departmental standards. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor is responsible for employee engagement and advocating for the pharmacy technician team while supporting the Pharmacy Manager in solving complex problems.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) required
State licensure with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy required
Advanced PTCB certification preferred

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 4 years of pharmacy related experience
3 years of experience in team leadership or a supervisory role position
Experience within the Health care industry working with health center or hospital operations
 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to use data to evaluate outcomes required
Working knowledge and experience with electronic medical record systems, performance
dashboards, database products, and analysis tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
Must have excellent attention to detail to all areas of compliance
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position operates in a professional office and clinic environment
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate a computer and other office
equipment
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing
administrative and computer-based tasks
Occasionally required to lift or move items weighing up to 20 pounds (such as files, office
supplies, or small equipment)
Must have adequate visual acuity, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform essential job
functions
May occasionally move between clinic and administrative areas and be exposed to a typical

Salary Range: starting at $71,968 up to $112,320. Final rate contingent on years of experience.
