Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Prepare electrical system designs including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and backup systems for airport facilities.
Develop single line diagrams (SLD), load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment layouts.
Design and coordinate HT/LT systems, substations, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and emergency power supply.
Design airfield lighting systems (AGL) including runway, taxiway, and apron lighting.
Ensure compliance with ICAO, DGCA, NBC, IS codes, and local electrical standards.
Coordinate with architectural, civil, MEP, and airport planning teams.
Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
Review vendor drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to design.
Implement energy-efficient and sustainable solutions (LED lighting, smart controls, renewable integration).
B.E./B.Tech (Electrical)
10–15 yrs total, min 5 yrs in airport projects
