Lab Incharge- Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Oversee daily operations of Physics and Chemistry labs. 

  • Maintain inventory of chemicals, equipment, and instruments. 

  • Ensure proper storage and labelling of hazardous materials. 

  • Implement and monitor safety protocols. 

  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. 

  • Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. 

  • Assist faculty and students during practical sessions. 

  • Prepare experimental setups and demonstrations. 

  • Maintain accurate records of experiments and training. 

  • Schedule calibration and servicing of instruments. 

  • Report and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly. 

  • Keep logs of chemical usage, equipment maintenance, and safety checks. 

  • Prepare reports for audits and inspections. 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, or related field  

  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments and experimental setups. 

  • Knowledge of chemical handling and disposal procedures.
