Job Description – AWS Infrastructure Engineer (IaC – CDK, TypeScript, Terraform) 5-7 yrs of experience

Required / Mandatory Knowledge & Skills
1. AWS Infrastructure Engineering
Strong Handson experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway, Route53, IAM, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch).
Develop and manage AWS Landing Zone environments, including multiaccount structure, guardrails, and governance.
Implement and maintain Shared Services (networking, IAM, logging, monitoring, security baselines).
Apply AWS security best practices (IAM baselines, KMS, Secrets Manager, key rotation, access controls).
Build scalable, secure, and compliant cloud architectures.
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Expertise in AWS CDK (TypeScript) for IaC.
Build reusable IaC modules for computer, networking, storage, and security.
Implement version-controlled infrastructure using GitLab repositories.
Ensure consistent deployments across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
3. CI/CD & Deployment Automation
Experience with GitLab CI/CD, including runners, pipelines, and automation.
Experience with Octopus Deploy for release automation.
Experience with GoCD for pipeline orchestration.
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.
Automate environment provisioning and application deployments.
4. Monitoring, Logging & Observability
Experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, XRay, and centralized logging patterns.
Implement alarms, dashboards, log groups, and metric filters using IaC.
Ensure monitoring coverage for shared services and application workloads.
5. Containerization & Orchestration
Familiarity with Docker and orchestration using ECS/EKS.
Understanding container networking, scaling, and security.
6. Troubleshooting & Operational Excellence
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments.
Ability to diagnose networking, IAM, and application level issues.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Mandatory: AWS CDK, AWS Landing Zone, Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket, GoCD
Optional: Terraform, Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, Git workflows, and DevOps practices, Good Devops Knowledge
