(Sr.) HR Manager, TAq Operations & Early Talent
Job Description
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive recruitment efficiency and effectiveness with high quality
- Establish a systematic recruitment SLA framework to provide visibility on overall hiring status, flag key issues, and offer recommendations to HR and business leadership teams.
- Set data quality standards and monitor compliance on a regular basis.
- Enable TAq Partners to strengthen their capability in using systems and managing data in line with required standards and provide timely feedback and training.
- Manage the recruitment budget, including working with Finance on cost breakdown, ROI analysis, cost estimation, and payment tracking.
Optimize recruitment process and talent attraction with innovative approaches
- Identify pain points in the recruitment process and drive optimization, balancing China localization needs with global standards.
- Stay abreast of TAq technology trends, assess business needs, and digitalize recruitment processes to improve both business and candidate experience.
- Review and update recruitment-related policies to meet business needs, ensure compliance, and mitigate audit risks.
- Design and execute attractive talent attraction approaches for the younger generation, leveraging digital recruitment marketing, social media, and employer branding channels.
Lead early talent recruitment and campus engagement
- Develop and execute early talent recruitment strategies in partnership with TAq Head, HRBPs, business leaders, and hiring managers to meet business staffing needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Lead campus recruitment programs and initiatives, including campus outreach, management trainee programs, and internship programs, and provide expertise and direction for execution.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with target colleges and universities to build a strong and sustainable early talent pipeline.
- Plan and coordinate campus recruitment events and related activities to enhance AZ’s employer brand and attract high-potential talent.
Develop strategic partnerships with recruitment vendors and external channels
- Work with procurement team to co-lead vendor bidding, selection, review, and evaluation process, covering headhunters, job boards, social media, and other recruitment channels.
- Track and manage vendors’ BAU performance and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Explore and develop new vendors or innovative recruitment tools/channels to support evolving business hiring needs, including early talent attraction.
Support TAq or other HR projects
- Provide expertise in data, systems, and policies to support TAq and other HR projects.
- Participate in and drive simplification of HR processes to improve efficiency and organization effectiveness.
- Partner with Global teams on recruitment-related initiatives, including AI-enabled projects, and drive the implementation of practices that are fit for China.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team, including other TAq COE and experienced hire/X SET hiring teams, to foster strong alignment and effective collaboration across talent acquisition activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Job Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in Talent Acquisition, ideally in MNC HR or HR consulting.
- Strong hands-on experience in recruitment operations, process improvement, data analysis, project management, early talent programs, and campus recruitment etc.
- Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, change management, and the ability to drive improvements through process, data, and technology.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills, with strong learning agility and attention to detail.
- Result-driven, entrepreneurial, and able to turn HR/business strategy into outcomes.
- Experience in digital recruitment projects and willingness to travel as needed.
