
Director of Health Coaching and Patient Engagement
Job Description
The Director of Health Coaching and Patient Engagement will lead efforts to strengthen student wellness through our health coaching programs, with a specific focus on supporting students and families in agricultural rural communities. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, this role will oversee a team of health coaches and develop innovative strategies to maximize engagement and outcomes across our clinics and health and wellness sites at Wonderful College Prep Academies.
- Lead and mentor a team of health coaches, providing direction, professional development, and performance oversight
- Collaborate with employee health, behavioral health, and Family Wellness Center teams to ensure alignment of services, while maintaining primary focus on student wellness and employee health coaching
- Regularly assess and address barriers to student access and engagement in health coaching services
- Develop and implement patient engagement strategies focused on health coaching and childhood obesity programming for students
- Strengthen relationships with school administrators, community leaders, and corporate stakeholders to promote awareness and utilization of student wellness and health coaching services
- Champion initiatives to engage underserved populations, particularly in agricultural rural settings
- Track and report key performance indicators tied to student health outcomes, using data analytics to drive improvements
- Report outcomes, insights, and recommendations to the Chief Medical Officer and executive leadership
- This position is based in Lost Hills, CA & Delano, CA.
- Travel is required to Lost Hills clinic, Delano clinic, and Mobile clinic.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in health coaching or community wellness programs
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience in program development, data-driven decision-making, and outcomes reporting
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across diverse stakeholders
- Passion for serving rural, agricultural, and underserved populations

- Pay Range: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 and is eligible for a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience
