Job Description

We live in a world where technology is rapidly changing the educational experiences of students and teachers everywhere, and we have the opportunity to shape how this change takes place. Kira's mission is to harness transformative AI technologies to make world-class personalized teaching and learning accessible to everyone. We are a rapidly growing startup backed by top-tier Venture Capital funds including New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Andrew Ng’s AI Fund, and Primavera.

As our Implementation Specialist in El Salvador, reporting into our General Manager based in LatAm, you'll be Kira's eyes, ears, and hands on the ground as we scale from 18 schools to 600. You'll spend your days in schools supporting tutors, teachers, and students. This will include gathering feedback, solving problems in real time and partnering closely with our El Salvador lead so the rollout succeeds at scale. This is a role for someone who loves being in the field, is endlessly patient, and gets real satisfaction from helping people become self-sufficient.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn Kira's platform and the El Salvador use case inside out, quickly building the expertise to support every type of user on the deployment.

  • Be Kira's presence on the ground: visit schools across El Salvador daily, supporting teachers, students, tutors (in-person and remote), and the local content editors.

  • Own the incoming queue of questions, requests, and feedback about Kira - mostly through WhatsApp - responding promptly and letting nothing drop.

  • Coach users to solve problems on their own rather than fixing things for them, guiding people to the answer so the deployment grows more self-sufficient as it scales.

  • Gather feedback from the field and route it to the right place: content errors to the editors and authors, validated product issues to the Product team.

  • Troubleshoot across devices, connectivity, accounts, and the Kira platform on the spot

  • Running quick checks to confirm whether something is a real bug before escalating.

  • Communicate feature requests and bug reports cleanly: test first, confirm the issue is broadly relevant, and submit well-formed tickets to Product.

  • Partner day-to-day with the El Salvador General Manager (who stays present for high-level stakeholder meetings) and coordinate with the GoES team and the leaders who manage the tutors.

  • Potentially support our Puerto Rico (higher-ed) deployment with Spanish-language support as that engagement takes shape.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years supporting people on the ground, training teachers, or helping users adopt a product or tool, in education or an adjacent field.

  • Based in El Salvador and comfortable being on customer sites full-time, with daily school visits.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

  • Highly tech-savvy: confident troubleshooting devices (Android and Apple), Wi-Fi and connectivity, and account setup - no engineering background needed, but quick and resourceful with everyday tech.

  • Exceptionally patient, with genuine enthusiasm for helping and teaching people the same things as many times as it takes.

  • Outgoing and easy to connect with, while comfortable navigating the formality of a school (greeting principals, introducing yourself to teachers, asking permission to observe a class).

  • Detail-oriented, with sound judgment on when to troubleshoot, when to coach, and when to escalate.

  • A fast learner who can get deep on an unfamiliar product quickly.

Your Impact

Within 6–12 months:

  • The El Salvador rollout scales from 18 to 600 schools with consistent, high-quality support on the ground.

  • Teachers, tutors, and students get timely help, and issues are resolved in the field or escalated quickly and accurately.

  • Users are increasingly self-sufficient because the role coaches rather than just fixes.

  • The feedback loop to Product and the content editors is tight and well-triaged—only validated, broadly relevant issues make it into the queue.

  • The El Salvador lead is freed up to focus on the strategic relationship and regional expansion.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and equity

  • Employment through Deel, our Employer of Record in El Salvador, with all statutory benefits required under Salvadoran law
