
Network & Telephony Administrator
Job Description
You will work with state-of-the art technologies to ensure continued function and administration of all IT network and IP telephony system (Cisco Call Manager) across the Group (including both Country Offices and site operations). You will assess and improve the network hardening, and you will manage security monitor systems (SIEM) with goal to ensure systems’ health security posture.
What you will need to do:
- Ensure the smooth, secure operation and optimization of the Group’s Network, VoIP and Firewall infrastructure (including routers, switches, firewalls, vlan, cabling, licensing, upgrades, troubleshooting etc.)
- Act as the primary technical owner for Cisco Call Manager (CUCM), Cisco Collaboration Endpoints, and global IP Telephony deployments across Group offices and sites.
- Troubleshoot complicated issues of CUCM / Cisco Collaboration Endpoints / ISE / Firewalling, focusing on voice quality, SIP signaling, and call routing performance.
- Review daily health checks of both network devices and telephony clusters, taking corrective action where necessary.
- Manage vendors and partners related to networking and telephony, ensuring SLA compliance for critical voice links and SIP trunks.
- Continually review IT processes and procedures to ensure constant improvements in service performance and make recommendations upwards.
- Maintain system access, user accounts, network drives, passwords etc.
- Participate in cross-functional IT projects (e.g., ISE implementation, VoIP infrastructure migrations, or telephony cluster upgrades).
- BSc degree in IT, Telecommunications, or related study area.
- Min. five (5) years working experience in network and telephony administration, with a strong focus on enterprise-level IP Telephony architecture within Cisco & Fortinet ecosystems.
- Deep working experience with Cisco Call Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unified Communications infrastructure, and Cisco Collaboration Endpoints (configuration, management, and maintenance); working knowledge of Cisco ISE and Fortinet Firewalls will be considered a strong asset.
- Proven experience in voice troubleshooting (SIP signaling, RTP streams, QoS, voice gateways, and dial plans).
- Vendor/partner management exposure, specifically with telecom providers and SIP trunk vendors.
- Working experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure), would be considered an asset.
- Cisco certifications focused on Collaboration (e.g., CCNP Collaboration / CCNA) or Routing & Switching, Fortinet certifications, or any current Microsoft certification are highly welcomed.
- Fluency in English language.
