Job Description

The Purchasing Coordinator (PC) provides a variety of support functions within the Materials Management/Supply Chain departments. Assist the requisitioners and other hospital staff in the procurement of goods and services for internal and external customers. PCs identify, research, analyze and resolve purchasing issues with other departments and suppliers. Must be able to communicate with department managers regarding discrepancies, pricing, substitutes and backorders. Confirm purchase orders (PO) with outside vendors.
