RN  Unit Manager 

Dublin Post Acute  

Location: Dublin Ohio    

Job Type: Full-Time 

Salary: $88,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience 

Position Overview 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or to join our team as a Skilled Nursing Unit Manager. In this leadership role, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of the skilled nursing unit, ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective staff management. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. 

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing unit. 

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations. 

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with CMS guidelines, state regulations, and accreditation standards. 

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care. 

  • Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage. 

  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and training. 

  • Oversee resident care plans, clinical documentation, and quality outcomes. 

  • Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally. 

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness activities. 

Qualifications 

  • Current and active RN or LPN license in the state. 

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting. 

  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. 

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 

  • Thorough knowledge of nursing regulations, survey processes, and clinical best practices. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
