We’re looking for our next Senior Product Manager. Could It Be You?
As a Senior Product Manager team, you will own discovery and delivery of products & features Questrade customers use to manage their money & investments. Your mandate is to take a customer problem and solve it - then build, ship, and improve it with your engineering, design, and data partners.
This is not a roadmap-administration role or a strategy-deck role. Our Experience Platform spans investing, money automation, banking and borrowing products. You'll sit at the intersection of customer experience, technology, and business strategy as we collapse the boundaries between investing, banking, and spending into one seamless product. It's ideal for someone who has shipped consumer products at scale, sweats the details of every customer touchpoint, and has a track record of getting real things built in complex environments.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Owning the end-to-end requirement gathering and definition process for highly complex, interrelated product functionality; strategically navigating technical cross-domain dependencies and descopes features when necessary to optimize sequencing and deliver continuous client value.
Going beyond surface-level metrics to develop a deep understanding of the drivers behind product performance, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities that others might miss.
Defining and evolving the measurement framework for your product area, ensuring success is measured in a way that reflects true user and business impact.
Using data to make difficult trade-off decisions and confidently challenge assumptions when the evidence demands it.
Maintaining a solid understanding of technical architecture, system dependencies, and platform integrations within the product domain; works in close partnership with engineering to navigate complex architectural trade-offs and address technical bottlenecks.
Setting a predictable release cadence while balancing execution velocity with code quality and long-term architectural stability.
Building deep cross-functional buy-in and organizational trust by distilling complex product updates into clear, strategic insights for leadership, providing proactive mitigation plans for upcoming risks.
Cultivating a high-performing squad environment by setting a clear strategic tone, navigating healthy conflict, and actively mentoring cross-functional team members to elevate delivery quality.
Demonstrating a relentless focus on whatever outcomes the product and squad need to succeed, championing a strong sense of collective accountability and pride in delivery.
Establishing and tracking clear domain metrics, synthesizing customer insights, performance data, and competitor trends into tactical roadmap priorities.
So are YOU our next Senior Product Manager? You are if you…
Have 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping consumer-facing digital products at scale - ideally in fintech, banking, investing, or another trust-sensitive domain.
Have Demonstrated ownership of a product area end to end: strategy, discovery, delivery, measurement, and iteration.
Have built your instincts from real customer conversations, behavioral data, and cohort analysis - not strategy meetings or personal bias.
Have the ability to write clearly, present persuasively, and can translate between technical and non-technical audiences, from engineers to executives.
Have an ability to default to action, form a point of view quickly, and revise it when the evidence says so.
Know how to partner with engineering, design, user research, product marketing to understand technical trade-offs and make smart calls with your team.
Are Able to integrate AI-powered tools and prompts into daily operational workflows to analyze datasets, automate routine administrative tasks, and enhance data-driven decision-making.
Additional kudos if you…
Have experience at high-growth startups, especially in fintech or other domains requiring complex systems thinking.
Have experience launching net-new products or entering new markets, especially in regulated industries.
Have strong opinions about UI/UX - you don’t need to be a designer but should know what a category defining experience looks like.
Have experience with the Canadian financial services landscape and its regulatory environment.
Not For You If…
You prefer managing a backlog over owning an outcome.
You see compliance and regulation as reasons things can't be done, rather than constraints to design within.
You'd rather present the strategy than do the unglamorous work of shipping it.
You need a fully defined role before you can be effective - our team's scope moves fast and you need to be comfortable with ambiguity and change.
You're indifferent to whether customers actually love what you build, as long as it launched.
Compensation Information:
Base salary range: $150,000- $180,000
The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
