Welder- New Tanks - (BGS-Emporia, Virginia)

Matrix Service Tank Division is currently looking for AST Welder / Tankie's who have experience welding aboveground storage tanks. Responsible for performing welding and grinding functions per job specifications. Selects equipment and plans layout and assembly of welding. Works closely and interacts with supervision.

• Must be able to travel for extended or short periods of time when the job requires it.
• AST New Tank Welders, Must be able to pass the following weld tests. 9% Nickel Plate Test: • FCAW (ENiCrMo3T1-4) - 2G, 3G, 4G • SMAW (ENiCrMo-6) - 2G, 3G, 4G

Carbon Steel Plate Test: • FCAW (Flux Core) – 2G, 3G, 4G • SMAW E6010 (5P) 3G, Downhill • SMAW E7018 – 2G, 3G, 4G
