Job Description
Positions, reworks, fits and welds according to written and typed instructions, blueprints, manufacturer's specifications, and knowledge of characteristics of metal. Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly and welding. Uses hand-welding, or brazing equipment to weld, braze, metal products, components, or assemblies. Includes flame spray applied hardfacing, tig, oxy acetylene applied rod hardfacing, sandblasting, and belt sanding graphite plugs to specific dimensions.
