We currently have an opportunity for a GoTeach Coordinator for French and Portuguese AfricaResponsibilities GoTeach Coordinator French and Portuguese Africa
1. Coordinate the planning, implementation and reporting of GoTeach French and Portuguese Africa program activities and assure they are delivered on-time, with the right quality, and the agreed budget.
2. Coordinate the work with different stakeholders (XBU and SOS CV) in French and Portuguese Africa and content experts to gather input, understand business needs, and participate in Corporate Responsibility awareness activities.
3. Support GoTeach Manager Africa with the GoTeach Budget for all Africa - ensuring activity budget distribution to the countries and activity reporting for each of the countries.
4. Help increase the GoTeach KPI results number from the previous year as the base. Help create a common understanding of the GoTeach strategy amongst all relevant GoTeach stakeholders in the region.
5. Support expansion of GoTeach in the region based on the recent global GoTeach strategy and framework.
Planning, Tracking, Reporting
a) Ensure the Partnership agreements are signed at country level as per agreed timelines
b) Support local GoTeach teams and support countries in planning and implementation of GoTeach activities in the active GoTeach partner countries
c) Deliver coaching (virtually and/or physically) to support GoTeach local leads in DHL, SOS network partners to implement and track their achievements
d) Compile comprehensive reports utilizing global GoTeach tools
Employee Engagement strategies and tools
a) Support the implementation of initiatives to engage DHL employees to volunteer, participating in GoTeach activities following the GT framework.
b) Support the promotion of GoTeach opportunities to HR managers and help drive their implementation to support building sustainable talent pipeline in Africa
Internal Communication Support Internal Communication on Regional, BU and global DPDHL level by:
- Event calendar
- Updates from active GoTeach countries
- Stories from DHL employee and SOS CV youth
- Inspiring articles about employability activities and achievements
Offer and be prepared for Internal Communication requests
Working Groups :
- Actively contribute to GoTeach Knowledge Hub working group
- Actively contribute to other relevant GoTeach working groups
External Communication External Visibility:
Support external visibility and media exposure of GoTeach by:
• Coordinating with SOS Children’s Villages and Teach For All network partners on external communications
• Supporting content development for external communication channels in line with agreed guidelines
Respond to and support external communication requests related to GoTeach when required.
