Job Description
Firestorm is looking for a Field Service Representative (FSR), xCell to be positioned to support U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and partner customers operating in the Hurlburt and Eglin Air Force Base area. You will deploy from this region to customer sites, delivering New Equipment Training (NET) sessions, and serve as the first point of human contact for customer-surfaced technical issues on xCell systems. This is a regionally-anchored, customer-facing role.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deploy from the Hurlburt / Eglin region to customer sites in the U.S. Special Operations and CENTCOM-area operational landscape.
- Deliver NET sessions on xCell systems as instructor or assistant instructor.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair xCell systems in the field within the Tier 1 / Tier 2 playbook; escalate to Senior FSR / Tech Lead as needed.
- Log every field-surfaced event in the VOC Field Capture Form within 24 hours per the published SLA.
- Maintain the regional field tool kit, parts inventory, and field-deployable test fixture.
- Build and sustain working relationships with SOCOM-area customer operator and command staff.
- Perform other duties as needed
Required qualifications
- Associates degree or Trade School Certificate in Engineering or equivalent discipline. In lieu of degree/certificate a High School diploma or GED with 6+ years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations & the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
- Active Secret clearance at hire required.
- 3+ years field service experience on industrial, additive manufacturing, or military hardware platforms.
- HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) certification, required to obtain within first 90 days post-hire.
- Current U.S. passport at hire.
- Willingness to relocate to or already resident in the Hurlburt / Eglin AFB area.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior U.S. military service with a maintenance MOS or equivalent; SOCOM-component or aviation-maintenance background preferred.
- Top Secret eligibility.
- Prior employment at additive manufacturing OEM or defense-industry field service organization.
- Familiarity with ITAR shipping documentation and HAZMAT protocols.

Work Environment
- Position is based in the Hurlburt Field / Eglin Air Force Base (AFB) area, Florida
- We welcome candidates who are local or open to relocating; relocation assistance is available and may be included in the offer package where appropriate.
- Willingness and ability to travel 40–60% of the time; primarily INDOPACOM- and CENTCOM-region deployments; CONUS/OCONUS as required
Compensation
- Base salary: $85,000 - $110,000 base, commensurate with experience
- Equity: Meaningful equity grant in a growth-stage defense technology company
