
Student Supply Chain Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a student to join us for a 4 month co-op position starting in September 2026. This position will be based out of Edmonton, Alberta.

Collaborate with various departments to gather information for purchasing and subcontract administration proposals.
Assist in creating and formatting purchasing and subcontract administration documents, ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
Coordinate the review process, ensuring timely feedback from stakeholders.
Conduct market research related to purchasing and subcontract administration to gather relevant information for proposal content.
Analyze client requirements in the context of purchasing and subcontract administration, tailoring proposals to meet specific needs.
Stay informed about industry trends in purchasing and subcontract administration to enhance proposal competitiveness.
Maintain a comprehensive, accurate database of purchasing and subcontract administration-related proposal content.
Organize and manage files related to proposals for easy retrieval and reference.
Work closely with subject matter experts in purchasing and subcontract administration to understand technical details and incorporate them into proposals.
Communicate effectively with team members for smooth collaboration during the development of purchasing and subcontract administration proposals.
Conduct thorough proofreading and editing of proposals to ensure they are error-free and meet quality standards.
Assist in the development of templates and standard content specific to purchasing and subcontract administration to streamline future proposal processes.

Who We Need On Our Team
You are currently enrolled in Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related program.
You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently

Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or one of our wholly owned subsidiaries
