Bank Chef/Cook - Specialist Residential Service

Are you an experience Cook or Chef looking for a role with better work-life balance and a change to do meaningful work?

We're looking for a Chef/Cook to support our specialist residential service in a friendly and supportive environment. The service supports adults with complex mental health needs, and food plays a huge part in helping residents feel settled, valued and cared for.

Hour/Contract
  • 37.5 hours per week

  • 9am to 5pm

  • Weekend availability required

What the role involves?
  • Preparing nutritious, home-style meals for residents

  • Catering for dietary needs and preferences

  • Maintaining high food hygiene and kitchen standards

  • Managing the kitchen independently during shifts

  • Working closely with the wider care team

What we're looking for
  • Previous experience as a Cook or Chef

  • A positive, calm, and reliable approach

  • Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety

  • Ability to work independently

  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent is desirable
