Join our top-notch team of approximately 43,500 diverse and high-performing professionals globally who are making their mark on some of the world’s most beloved brands, including DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, STANLEY®, CUB CADET®, and HUSTLER®.

The Job:

As a Senior Manager, End User Lifecycle Operations, you’ll be part of our Infrastructure & Support Services team working as a remote employee.    You’ll get to:

End User Software Licensing, True-Ups & License Management (Oversight)

  • Own the operational governance for licensing programs (e.g., enterprise agreements and related subscriptions), including renewal calendars, compliance posture, and internal controls.
  • Lead the true-up/true-down process: data collection, reconciliation, internal approvals, and submission readiness; ensure audit-ready documentation and traceability.
  • Maintain an accurate license position by partnering with SAM/ITAM, endpoint engineering, identity teams, and Finance to reconcile entitlements vs. consumption.
  • Establish and monitor license management processes (request/approval flows, assignment standards, reclaim/re-harvest, exception handling).
  • Produce recurring reporting on license utilization, compliance risk, and optimization opportunities; drive corrective actions with owners.

Tenant Management (Oversight)

  • Provide governance and oversight for Microsoft tenant management (e.g., M365/Azure/Entra ID tenant administration operating procedures), ensuring alignment with Security and Identity standards.
  • Coordinate with Identity/Security teams on role-based access, privileged access processes, and administrative change controls.
  • Ensure tenant configuration changes follow documented approval and change management processes; maintain operational runbooks and escalation paths.
  • Support cross-tenant or multi-tenant considerations (if applicable), including standardization, documentation, and stakeholder communications.

PC Procurement & Lifecycle Operations

  • Manage PC procurement operations: demand planning inputs, ordering workflows, vendor coordination, and purchase-to-receipt tracking.
  • Own asset tracking and lifecycle governance (receiving, imaging readiness, assignment, transfers, returns, refresh, and disposition) in partnership with ITAM/SAM.
  • Lead logistical deployments (new hire kits, break/fix swaps, refresh waves, site deployments), ensuring SLA adherence and clear communications to end users and site IT.
  • Oversee depot operations (internal or outsourced): inventory accuracy, staging/imaging coordination, shipping/receiving, repair triage, and secure disposal processes.
  • Implement controls for chain of custody, data handling, and secure wipe/disposition aligned to security policies and regulatory requirements.

Vendor, Financial & Process Governance

  • Manage vendor performance for Microsoft licensing partners and PC suppliers/logistics providers: KPIs, SLAs, escalations, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Finance/Procurement to ensure spend visibility, invoice validation, and cost optimization (license right-sizing, standard configurations, reduced expedite costs).
  • Define and improve SOPs, documentation, and controls to ensure repeatable operations and audit readiness.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management (Not Initially)

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts/coordinators (or manage vendors) supporting licensing operations and endpoint logistics.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for licensing and endpoint lifecycle topics for IT leadership, Service Desk, Security, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Drive clear communications for upcoming renewals/true-ups, refresh cycles, and deployment schedules.

The Person:

You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You’re not intimidated by innovation. Wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? In fact, you embrace it. You also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in at least two of the following areas: Microsoft licensing/SAM, IT asset management, endpoint/desktop operations, procurement operations, or IT service management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft licensing concepts (subscriptions vs. enterprise agreements, compliance, true-ups) and ability to partner effectively with licensing specialists and resellers.
  • Experience managing operational processes with strong controls (approvals, audit trails, documentation).
  • Experience with endpoint lifecycle operations (procurement, inventory, deployment logistics, depot/warehouse operations).
  • Strong vendor management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel/analytics skills; comfort producing executive-ready metrics and dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft licensing optimization and usage reporting for M365 and/or Azure.
  • Familiarity with ITAM/SAM tools and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent), including asset and request workflows.
  • Experience with Intune/Autopilot, endpoint imaging/staging processes, and identity concepts (Entra ID) in partnership with engineering teams (not necessarily hands-on engineering).
  • Certifications (nice to have): ITIL Foundation, IAITAM (CSAM/CHAMP), Microsoft fundamentals (e.g., MS-900/AZ-900), or procurement/supply chain certifications.
