The Job/What You’ll Do: 

The Vice President, Information Technology and Analytics provides strategic leadership for the organization’s enterprise technology and data initiatives, with oversight of Business Intelligence leadership and a focus on cloud transformation, data governance, AI enablement, cybersecurity alignment, and scalable digital infrastructure. This role partners with executive leadership to modernize technology capabilities, strengthen data-driven decision-making, and align enterprise systems and services with organizational strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive leadership and oversight of IT Infrastructure, End User Services, Information Security, Application Development, Data, Business Intelligence, and Analytics functions through director-level leadership.
  • Lead enterprise technology modernization initiatives, including cloud transformation, systems optimization, and digital service enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain technology and analytics strategies, roadmaps, and priorities that support organizational goals, operational effectiveness, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Provide strategic oversight of Business Intelligence, analytics, reporting, and data science functions to support data-driven decision-making and business performance.
  • Oversee technology and analytics budgets, vendor relationships, and contract performance to ensure responsible stewardship of organizational resources.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise data governance, data quality, information management, and reporting standards.
  • Build security and trust as foundational pillars of the organization's technology infrastructure and architecture, ensuring resilient and compliant operations.
  • Lead technology risk management, cybersecurity readiness, incident response planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
  • Oversee enterprise technology architecture, data infrastructure, reporting platforms, and systems integration to ensure reliability, scalability, security, and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with executive leadership, operational leaders, and key business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and implement technology and analytics initiatives that advance organizational objectives.
  • Guide the evaluation, selection, implementation, and optimization of technology platforms, software solutions, equipment, and vendor-provided services.
  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, government agencies, technology providers, and other stakeholders to support business operations, service delivery, compliance requirements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project prioritization, portfolio management, and resource allocation processes to support effective execution of technology and analytics initiatives.
  • Oversee enterprise technology operations and service delivery, promoting industry best practices, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Guide the adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics solutions, in alignment with organizational priorities and business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and organizational effectiveness through technology innovation, systems integration, automation, and process improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Human Resources, and other business leaders to support strategic initiatives and organizational growth.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging best practices to inform technology strategy and organizational readiness.
  • Lead, develop, and support high-performing technology and analytics teams by establishing clear expectations, fostering collaboration, and promoting professional growth.

Education & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in field, 8+ years of leadership experience
  • CGEIT, CISSP, CAP Certification, Required; CSM, CPBI certification, Preferred
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field, Required 

Experience/Training Specifications: Executive leadership with non-profit, preferably in the healthcare industry or human/social services; extensive industry knowledge as it relates to IT and BI systems. High level of experience in Project Management, technical translation, and innovation.  Experience in leading remote teams.

 

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  Exposure to noise typical with office operations.  Ability to hear and speak.
