Mercedes-Benz Vans is a successful manufacturer of premium light commercial vehicles (LCV) for customers and markets worldwide. Our purpose is “to move transportation to the next level” and to define the LCV business of the future: focused on sustainability, connectivity and digital solutions. We have decided to expand our battery-electric LCV production capacity and implement an entirely new plant next to our existing Mercedes-Benz production facility in Jawor. Quality Engineer in Product & Process Audit (VoCa)
Join our newly established Audits & Campaign Management Team in the Quality Department and make a real impact on the final product as perceived by the customer. This is a unique opportunity to work on the evaluation of finished vehicles and be heard as the ,,voice of the customer,, (VoCa). We are looking for persons who want to influence the final quality and help elevate our standards to the highest level. Together, we build quality that customers truly notice and appreciate.
Task
Technical coordination of product audit, station audit, and digital audit processes.
Management and control of sampling
Definition and coordination of quality standards with the plants
Presentation of audit results
Contribution to further development of the corrective action process
Organization and moderation of quality discussions to verify corrective actions
Preparation of quality data in the form of weekly and monthly reports, presentation of quality topics to the relevant committees
Coordination of (sub-)projects and alignment of requirements with process partners
Exchange of experiences with other Quality engineers across all MB VANs locations
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Automotive Technology or a related field
Experience in product auditing, quality assurance or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry
Familiarity with automotive quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949)
Experience with Mercedes-Benz or other automotive products and processes (Bodyshop, Assembly)
Advanced knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools
Knowledge of quality management tools
Fluent in English (German would be an advantage)
Ability to work independently in a structured way
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
