University Physicians’ Association is currently seeking a qualified Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our fast-paced University Infectious Disease clinic.


Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure and is passionate about patient care. In this role, you will work closely with physicians to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with patient care and clinical procedures
  • Manage patient scheduling and clinic flow
  • Handle prior authorizations and obtain pre-certifications for MRIs, CTs, and surgeries
  • Track test results and ensure follow-up
  • Triage patients and respond to inquiries professionally
  • Maintain strong communication and positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers

Qualifications:

  • MA certification required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Commitment to compassionate and patient-centered care

  • 6-months to 1-year previous medical experience
  • MA or EMT Certification.
