**This is a 12 month grant funded position with the annual salary of $48,000.00.
The clinical research assistant is expected to provide assistance in organizing and conducting a retrospective research project under the direction of the clinical research team. The position is accountable for assisting in the timely and accurate conduct of the research, from initiation to completion of study. The job will include ongoing communication with other study sites as part of the role of lead site of the multisite study. Additional activities include study start up tasks, medical record review and abstraction, medical student mentoring, data entry and statistical analysis.
Essential Functions:
Preparing study documents for study start up
IRB submission and communications
Serving as the point of contact for all sites participating in the multisite study
Managing spreadsheets and database for the study
Medical record review
Statistical analysis of study data
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong statistical analysis skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Prior experience drafting and revising manuscripts
Experience in a health care setting preferred
