Summary of Role:
Responsible for all aspects of lien processing, including perfections, releases, reporting and follow up. Ensuring activities are performed in accordance with Broadview policies and applicable statutory requirements.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Act as subject matter expert on lien filing process, procedures for both New York State and out of state lien filings
Process lien filings on New York State titles received
Ensure liens are perfected on new vehicle loans funded
File UCC’s within required timeframes in accordance with internal policies and procedures
Maintain all processes and training materials for titles and lien's function
Prepare and send all requests for information/missing title letters to members
Manage out‑of‑state lien filings to ensure proper lien perfection in accordance with varying state DMV requirements.
Process bad address and name change updates, as required
Prepare and issue lien releases, as required and per policy
Handle all activity requests submitted for titles and liens issues within SLA timeframe
Prepare Security Agreement, Subsequent Action form when required
Assists Loss Mitigation with duplicate title forms, DMV forms, and any additional requirements for repossession, as needed
Demonstrate initiative and take proactive action with an appropriate level of independence.
Conduct monthly outbound calls to members on the high‑balance report to remind them of outstanding title requirements needed for lien perfection.
Other duties as needed
Create, review and process lien reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, identifying and documenting trends and areas for improvement
Capacity to work flexible hours as needed.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.), plus one-year financial services experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year consumer lending experience preferred.
Very high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including the ability to create and manipulate Excel documents.
Proficiency in typing, filing, grammar, spelling and punctuation, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Starting Compensation: $20.68-$24.82/hr. annually, plus a competitive benefits package.
Bilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.
