Co-Manager – Diesel Barbershop Full-Time | Katy TX
The Role
Diesel Barbershop is hiring a working Manager/Co-Manager licensed barber or stylist who leads from the chair. You'll spend the majority of your shift cutting while supporting team development, shop operations, and the client experience. This is not a booth rental and not a title-only position. This is a working leader role for someone who takes pride in both their craft and their team.
What You’ll Do:
Behind the Chair:
- Perform men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, and straight razor shaves
- Build client relationships that drive rebooking and retention
Leadership & Shop Operations:
- Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Coach staff on performance metrics (rebooking rate, average ticket, retail sales, and service time)
- Enforce Diesel standards and procedures (service steps, appearance guidelines, cash handling, phone etiquette, appointments)
- Assist with cash drawer accuracy, deposits, and end-of-day procedures
- Handle client concerns professionally
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Barber or Cosmetology license in [State]
- Proven skill in men's cuts, fades, and razor work
- Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Available nights and weekends
- Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented
Schedule / Expected Work Hours:
- Must be available during shop open hours

• Staff Average Pay is from $30 to $55+ per hour with tenure. *Salary, Bonus & Credit Tips. Cash tips not included.
