We are hiring for this position in Trinity’s Waltham, MA, New York City, NY, or San Francisco, CA offices. 

 

We are currently seeking a driven, talented, and growth-oriented Principal to support Trinity’s Evidence, Value, Access, and Pricing (EVAP) function. Specifically, we are looking for a high-throughput, senior, seasoned expert in the HEOR / RWE space, for the Evidence Generation team, a dynamic team focused on pragmatic and impactful evidence generation  using both primary and secondary research skills, to ultimately drive scientific dissemination for our clients.   

 

Our Evidence Generation team works on high-impact, real-world HEOR projects that “move the needle” on market access and treatment utilization and support medical education and strategic pricing. Examples include burden of illness studies, medical chart audits, discrete choice experiments, claims-based analyses, and economic modeling. The Evidence Generation team is fully integrated with the Insights team (qualitative and quantitative primary research) as well as the RWE team (secondary data research) to provide our clients with pragmatic insights on how to drive both medical as well as payer education.  

 

 

Position Responsibilities: 

 

  • Drive Business Development and help grow the Evidence Generation team  

  • Field RFPs and develop proposals, primarily for primary or secondary real-world studies and economic modeling opportunities. 

  • Bring in new potential client opportunities through previous work experiences / connections / network, as well as new research capabilities and best practices. 

  • Serve as the main client point of contact for project engagements and internal team lead. 

  • Ensure project outputs include strategically sound and actionable  

  • Support and mentor team members as a workstream lead, both coordinating and guiding the work of more junior staff members and effectively communicating as a partner to project managers. 

  • Ensure the delivery of client-ready materials, including research materials, interim deliverables, and final project reports. 

  • Provide thought leadership in evidence generation, value, market access and pricing in both client- and non-client-related activities (e.g., external conferences). 

  • Support the internal growth of the EVAP function through involvement in initiatives focused on consultant’s professional development, training, resources. 

 

Position Requirements: 

 

  • Demonstrated ability to grow and nurture a real world evidence generation team 

  • Track record of designing, conducting and publishing impactful RWE studies – primary and / or secondary  

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent; Economics, Health / Life Sciences, Public Health, or Health Services and Master’s degree, PharmD, or PhD in a relevant discipline and /or an HEOR certification is a plus. 

  • 10+ years’ experience in HEOR consulting. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in real-world HEOR projects and approaches, RWD / Claims, Primary Research; & Health Economic Models; Scientific Publications, ideally supported by Posters and Manuscripts in reputed journals. (Writing samples and citations are required) 

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). 

  • High attention to detail with superior organizational and time management skills. 

  • Strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional staff. 

  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and manage multiple projects and priorities. 

  • Ability to balance Trinity’s recommendation with needs and expectations of the company / client. 

  • Comfort in addressing potentially sensitive recommendations with senior executives.

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is a minimum of $290,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
