RN Circulator (Per Diem)

The OR circulator is a member of the surgical team that is responsible for patient advocacy, coordination of the Operating Room and patient safety during the procedure. Duties involve performing pre-operative assessments, preparing the OR with the necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure, charting and documenting the intraoperative portion of the procedure and responding to the needs of the surgical team. The circulator ensures the patient stays comfortable throughout the procedure, helps to maintain aseptic technique and ensures efficient surgical flow of the Operating Room.
