What you’ll own
Automated Framework & Tool Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain moderately complex software tools, test automation frameworks, and utilities to support continuous integration, testing, deployment, and delivery.
White Box & Component Testing: Write, execute, and review mid-level unit and component tests at the source code level to identify improper coding, structural deficiencies, and hidden errors early in the SDLC.
Performance, Security & Virtualization Testing: Author test scripts, analyze load and database performance to avoid bottlenecks, and use service virtualization tools to emulate dependent system components.
CI/CD Integration & Environment Management: Install, customize, and deploy moderately complex CI frameworks, maintain automation infrastructure through scripting and data generation, and build automated compliance/security tests.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Planning: Partner with business stakeholders, developers, and analysts to build intricate test plans, administer test data conditioning, and interpret multi-environment components for leadership.
Project & Client Coordination: Act as the single point of contact for assigned moderately complex client projects, prioritizing test execution and providing clear feedback to internal and external clients.
What you’ll bring
● Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
● 5 to 8 years of software Professional experience with software testing, coding, designing, and developing
● High level proficiency in Java with Oracle or Microsoft .net stack with SQL Server, Entity Framework, JavaScript, Git
● Selenium, MS Test, API testing tools and competence, Integration testing tools and competence
● Understanding of design principles, threading, real-time processing, and Oracle/SQL Server DB queries and performance tuning
● Excellent written and verbal communications skills
● Experience debugging and performance tuning applications and services
● Desire and skill in coaching more junior engineers
● Passion for doing what is right for the team, our company, and our customers
This role will focus on the technical processes related to software development and will assist in maintaining the high quality of new software systems. This role will focus on ensuring the software project security, and work to keep new technology by utilization of new tools and trends.
