Job Summary
The Rehanger Labor team member is responsible for rehanging poultry products onto processing line shackles to ensure a continuous and efficient production flow throughout the plant. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, line efficiency, and adherence to Tyson Foods' safety, food safety, and animal welfare standards. Team members must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while performing repetitive tasks and following established procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Rehang poultry products onto moving processing line shackles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor product flow to ensure proper spacing and line continuity.
- Remove damaged, contaminated, or unacceptable products according to established guidelines.
- Maintain production standards while meeting daily yield and efficiency goals.
- Follow all Tyson Foods safety, food safety, quality assurance, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of potential hazards.
- Communicate equipment or product issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
- Assist with line setup, changeovers, and sanitation activities as assigned.
- Adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
