Be part of a team that values connection, accountability, and real impact.
Why Access?
Because how we work matters just as much as what we do. At Access, our Culture Playbook isn’t a poster on the wall - it’s how we show up for each other and for the people we support.
You’ll be part of a team that is:
Clear about expectations
Supportive and accountable
Focused on outcomes that matter to people
And committed to helping people live the healthiest and fullest lives possible—while making sure our staff can do the same.
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you’ll be a key part of that first connection—helping people feel seen, supported, and quickly linked to care. You’ll work alongside nurses, therapists, and medical providers in a fast-paced, team-based environment where every role matters.
What You’ll Do
Welcome and support people accessing urgent behavioral health services
Provide administrative and clerical support to medical and clinical staff
Enter and manage data in the electronic health record (EHR)
Maintain accurate, organized records and documentation
Support day-to-day clinic operations, including managing office equipment and supplies
Help ensure a smooth, coordinated experience for both staff and the people we serve
What You’ll Bring
A respectful, non-judgmental approach and commitment to person-centered care
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Confidence supporting a range of professionals, including medical and behavioral health staff
Strong communication and customer service skills, especially when working with people navigating challenging situations
Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance, and billing processes
Spanish language skills are a plus
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant Certification or 3 years of relevant experience supporting clinical staff
Experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred
Experience with electronic health records and administrative support in a healthcare environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role is based in a busy, team-oriented clinical setting. You’ll need to:
Sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer
Move throughout the clinic and shared workspaces
Work in close proximity to team members
Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Reasonable accommodations are available to support individuals in performing essential job functions.
