You'll partner with Directors and Managers across the business to identify waste reduction opportunities, lead complex process improvement projects, and ensure initiatives are properly assessed, prioritized, and resourced for success. If you're a seasoned Lean practitioner who is energized by developing people, solving complex problems, and driving meaningful change at a global scale, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and use Lean, Lean 6-Sigma and Organizational Change Management (OCM) skills as appropriate
  • Collaborate with the Directors, Managers and FEM/Lean Coordinators to identify specific opportunities for waste reduction in their respective processes
  • Train and mentor individuals in the use of Lean, Lean 6-sigma and OCM skills, focused on achieving results to improve processes and enable people to better understand and be successful with change
  • Lead, facilitate and support complex process improvement projects across various functional areas
  • Educate all areas of the business to understand and use the ePMO process to ensure projects (including process changes) and software intakes are adequately assessed, prioritized, and resourced for success
  • Collaborate with the Directors/Managers to ensure proper metrics are in place to drive and track continuous improvement and transformation milestones
  • Become proficient in IGrafx as a Designer to document/map current and future state processes and train other Designers as needed
  • Function as facilitator, project manager, and/or team member depending on the type and size of the improvement/transformation
  • Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices from a global perspective.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in applying various improvement methodologies (Lean skills, 6-Sigma, project management, change management, transformation management)
  • Lean and/or Lean 6-Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
  • At least 5 years of lean or transformation experience preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a Lean practitioner, project manager, change management practitioner or transformation manager required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Business Organization or Engineering preferred)
  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills necessary; both verbal and written
  • Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft suites of office products
  • Working knowledge of process mapping software (iGrafx or Visio) and Qlikview/Qliksense preferred
  • Proven training experience required
  • Willing to travel up to 20% of time
