Job Description:

  • Verifies and enters complex constituent data from various sources into the fundraising database with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Monitors data integrity within the fundraising database, identifying and correcting incomplete or duplicate records.

  • Treats donor information with complete confidentiality and privacy according to industry guidelines.

  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of database management and its interrelations.

  • Provides input for the development of policies and procedures, standards, and schedules.

  • Transfers data from various sources into the database, ensuring accuracy and making necessary updates.

  • Collaborates with the Donor Systems & Analytics Team on various tasks and projects.

  • Assists in training new staff members on database management and related processes.

  • Processes and acknowledges all gifts, including cash, pledges, and payroll deductions.

  • Creates donor acknowledgment letters, receipts, and other materials in a timely manner.

  • Collaborates with the finance team to ensure proper recording and reconciliation of gifts.

  • Creates queries and custom exports to support internal and external data requests.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT [Required]
  • Detail-oriented and capable of recording data with a high level of accuracy. [Required]
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. [Required]
  • Ability to work on deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously. [Required]
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SharePoint; Outlook. [Required]
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a desire to build effective relationships at all levels. [Required]
  • Proficient literacy and numeracy skills. [Required]
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. [Required]
  • Comfortable working with people and as part of a team. [Required]
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. [Required]
  • Knowledge of Omatic ImportOMatic tool. [Preferred]


Education:

  • Associate's [Required]
  • Bachelor's [Preferred]


Field of Study:

  • Bachelor's in business, fundraising, information technology or related field


Work Experience:

  • 2+ years experience working in a non-profit setting [Required]
  • 6+ years experience working within an area related to specific job duties [Preferred]


Additional Information:

  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:
  • Associates degree and 2+ years of experience OR
  • High School Grad or Equiv and 4+ years of experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Blackbaud Certified in Raiser's Edge - Professional (bCRE-Pro) [Preferred]
  • Knowledge of Omatic tools [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$49,718.59 - $92,468.74
