Job Description

We are seeking an experienced All Source Analyst to support the Data Effects Cell (DEC) in delivering timely, accurate, and operationally relevant analytical products to U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and partner force units operating within the Tactical Mission Network (TMN) environment. The All Source Analyst is the analytical engine of the cell — responsible for collecting, fusing, and exploiting data from multiple intelligence disciplines and open sources to produce finished products that directly inform Special Operations planning, targeting, and decision-making.
This position requires a seasoned analyst who is comfortable working across GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, OSINT, and tactical data streams, synthesizing disparate information into coherent, actionable assessments. The ideal candidate has a strong intelligence analysis background — ideally within or in direct support of the SOF community — and brings the analytical processes, attention to detail, and operational instincts needed to produce high-quality products under the time constraints and ambiguity of a forward-focused Special Operations customer.  EUCOM/SOCEUR priorities, and the unique political-military dynamics of Eastern Europe (EE) is a distinct advantage.

This position is Remote/ Eastern Europe.

This position requires an active DoD Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

Application Deadline:  June 29, 2026

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

All Source Intelligence Analysis

  • Collect, evaluate, and fuse data and intelligence from multiple sources and disciplines including GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, OSINT, MASINT, and tactical reporting to produce comprehensive, multi-layered analytical assessments.
  • Analyze complex datasets and intelligence streams to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, networks, and operationally significant activities relevant to USASOC mission sets.
  • Produce finished all source analytical products including assessments, target packages, pattern-of-life analyses, network diagrams, threat assessments, and data visualization review (DVR) products in response to supported unit RFIs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the operational environment, threat landscape, and relevant geopolitical context within assigned areas of interest to ensure analytical products reflect the most accurate and up-to-date picture available.
  • Apply structured analytic techniques (SATs) to ensure assessments are logically sound, properly sourced, and free of cognitive bias.

RFI Response & Product Development

  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from supported USASOC units, producing tailored analytical products that directly address the intelligence requirements behind each request.
  • Develop data visualization review (DVR) products in coordination with the DEC Coordinator and data science staff, ensuring visualizations accurately represent the underlying analytical findings.
  • Manage multiple concurrent RFIs at varying classification levels, balancing competing deadlines without sacrificing analytical quality or product accuracy.
  • Package and format finished products appropriately for the intended audience — from staff planners and action officers to senior commanders — adjusting depth, format, and classification as required.

Data Exploitation & Source Integration

  • Exploit and integrate data from tactical military datasets, ISR collection systems, intelligence databases, and open-source environments to enrich analytical products and close information gaps.
  • Validate the accuracy, reliability, and relevance of data inputs from multiple sources before incorporating them into finished analytical products, flagging inconsistencies or source credibility concerns.
  • Collaborate with the DEC data scientist and data strategist to identify datasets and data providers that can expand or improve the analytical foundation available to the cell.
  • Leverage geospatial tools and data platforms to conduct pattern-of-life, terrain, threat, and activity-based intelligence (ABI) analysis in support of SOF operations.

Target & Network Analysis

  • Conduct network analysis and link analysis to map threat networks, key nodes, and relationships of interest to supported units.
  • Develop and maintain target folders, personality files, and associated analytical products in support of SOF targeting and operational planning processes.
  • Support time-sensitive targeting and direct action planning by providing rapid, accurate all source assessments of targets, routes, patterns, and threat environments.
  • Contribute to threat assessments and course of action (COA) analysis in support of unit mission planning and intelligence preparation of the operational environment (IPOE).

Collection Management Support

  • Identify intelligence gaps within current analytical products and formulate collection requirements to address shortfalls through available ISR and collection assets.
  • Submit and track collection requests, coordinating with unit collection managers and the DEC Coordinator to prioritize collection against the most critical intelligence requirements.
  • Assess the quality and utility of collected data upon receipt and provide feedback to collection managers to refine future collection efforts.

Collaboration & Knowledge Management

  • Collaborate closely with DEC cell members — including the Coordinator, data scientists, and subcontractor analysts — to ensure analytical products are integrated, deconflicted, and mutually supporting.
  • Contribute to the cell's knowledge management practices by maintaining accurate, well-organized analytical records, source documentation, and product archives.
  • Share analytical findings, source updates, and emerging threat information with cell members and the supported unit in a timely and structured manner.
  • Participate in joint analytical sessions, targeting boards, and intelligence working groups with the supported unit as required.

Quality Control & Analytical Processes

  • Ensure all analytical products meet established standards for sourcing, logical argumentation, proper classification marking, and format before submission for DEC Coordinator review.
  • Apply and enforce analytical process standards consistent applicable DoD and USASOC analytical policies.
  • Conduct peer review of other analysts' products within the cell, providing constructive feedback to maintain a high standard of analytical output across the DEC.
  • Participate in AARs and lessons learned reviews to continuously improve analytical processes and product quality.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Geographic Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; equivalent military education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 4+ years of experience as an all source intelligence analyst in a DoD, IC, or defense contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience fusing multiple intelligence disciplines (GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, OSINT, and/or MASINT) into finished analytical products.
  • Proficiency with intelligence analysis platforms and tools (e.g., Palantir, ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro, Analyst Notebook, or comparable systems).
  • Familiarity with structured analytic techniques (SATs) and their application to complex analytical problems.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, well-sourced analytical products under time pressure.
  • Experience working in or directly supporting military operations at the operational or tactical level.
  • Active TS or TS/SCI security clearance required

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Prior service as a military intelligence analyst (35F All Source, 35G GEOINT, 18F SF Intel Sergeant, or equivalent) with direct support to Special Operations units or task forces.
  • Experience supporting USASOC, USSOCOM, a Special Operations Task Force (SOTF), or a Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) in an analytical or targeting role.
  • Hands-on experience with activity-based intelligence (ABI), pattern-of-life analysis, and network/link analysis in a SOF operational context.
  • Familiarity with SOF targeting processes, Joint Targeting School methodology, or direct action support at the tactical edge.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Palantir Foundry) and the ability to translate analytical findings into compelling visual products.
  • Familiarity with TMN architectures, C2 systems, and the data ecosystems supporting SOF at the tactical level.
  • Knowledge of the Eastern European operational environment, regional threat actors, or relevant area of interest for USASOC/EUCOM mission sets.
