We are opening a new US Operations hub in Wixom, MI. As our Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a lead role in supporting production activities at the new site and help ensure a seamless transition from new product introduction to high-volume manufacturing for our Universal Robots product line.
- Lead the transition of products from New Product status to high-volume manufacturing in collaboration with New Product teams.
- Develop robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters and process controls.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams to identify, resolve, and prevent production and assembly issues.
- Build and evaluate electro-mechanical assemblies to develop assembly process flows and identify potential assembly risks.
- Support the design, qualification, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, assembly tools, fixtures, procedures, and packaging solutions.
- Partner with Quality teams to review yield reports, drive RCCA activities, and close corrective actions.
- Mentor and train personnel on proper product assembly methods and manufacturing best practices.
- Sustain alignment and share best practices across sites in Denmark and China.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment producing complex machinery, preferably robotics.
- Experience supporting manufacturing and test processes for electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Knowledge of DFM, DFT, LEAN, Six Sigma, RCCA, and failure analysis.
- Experience developing assembly process flows from solid models, bills of material, and other design information.
- Experience creating and maintaining detailed product assembly instructions, process documentation, and digitized assembly and test processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies, process-related issues, and equipment maintenance needs.
- Experience developing mechanical tools and fixtures used in the assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical products.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an eagerness to understand how products are assembled and a willingness to offer ideas for improving manufacturing processes and product design.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, quality, supplier, and global manufacturing teams.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $123,200- 176,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
