Field Application Engineer, Power Quality

What you’ll do:

• The primary function of the job is responsible for providing pre-sales support, developing technical solutions to customer and supporting the sales team.    
• Act as pre-sales “technical consultant” to identify and present the appropriate Eaton solutions to target customers.
• Develop proof of concept and example applications in support of pre-sale opportunities.
• Provide post-sales support of application development.
• Provide on-going support to target customers as they upgrade their facilities to ensure customer satisfaction and garner new business.
• Provide technical training to target customers.
• Provide technical training to internal staff.
• Provide product training and updates to customer sales teams.
• Provide specification activities to consultant.
• Calling on consultant, owner and end user to gain acceptance and promote Eaton into vendor list.
• Provide support on major projects including submittals drawings and interfacing with the customer and project consultants.
• Initiate and conduct product seminars.
• Support post-sales product and quality issues.
• To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:
  a. Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
  b. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS
  c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
  d. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals
  e. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS
  f. Create a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum 3 years pre-sales and support experience on data centre application
• Requires practical experience in design and solutioning
• The application knowledge of power quality in data center
• Familiar with Electrical methods, practices, and the National Electrical Code
• Technical interpretation and communication skills are important
• Must be able to make technical proposal presentations to customers and consulting engineers
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English and bahasa
• Knowledge of Auto-CAD and VBA
• Good knowledge of assigned markets
