Job Description

The Leather Operator is responsible product customization and will use equipment such as the Hot Foil Stamp Machine and Laser Engraver to monogram product, a 4-head machine to embroider product, and a Rivet Machine to affix metal plates to specialty bags.

Responsibilities:
• Set up machines; Control and adjust machine settings
• Inspect parts and test operation of machines periodically
• Ensure machines runs smoothly, work at capacity, and are appropriately maintained
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Stands, moves, lifts, and pushes product and boxes, and may use a ladder to complete job duties

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of hand tools and a manual pallet jack
• Experience as a machine operator is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English required
•Adherence to health and safety regulations are required
 

Willingness to work overtime is required
