Position summary: As a Subchapter Lead in the Global Digital Hub, you ensure delivery on long-term outcomes and strategy, embed and role model the new agile operating model, and inspire subchapter members to collaborate globally towards Roche’s Ten-Year Ambitions while shaping the Hub’s future by building cutting-edge digital capabilities (e.g., Social Media, Website Management, Creative Design, Digital Campaigns, Marketing Automation & Digital Operations), supporting colleagues’ development, driving innovation and value creation, and leading a diverse global team.

The Opportunity:

  • Coordinate the operation of the subchapter and the Digital Campaign Chapter within the Global Digital Hub: onboard and develop team members through coaching and support, ensure they have the proficiency to execute work packages and deliver objectives, continuously improve ways of working, and professionally represent the subchapter with key stakeholders.

  • Drive and role model agile collaboration and the embedding of the new operating model, support and lead cross-functional initiatives with a global perspective, and contribute recommendations to improve service and responsiveness to business partners.

  • Oversee resource management by monitoring resource utilization and customer satisfaction within the subchapter, quickly and effectively engaging resources via formal and informal networks, and working closely with Digital Hub Chapter Leads.

  • Foster capability development and talent management: find, attract, develop, and retain diverse talent aligned with evolving function and business needs, and support the embedding of the OneRoche mindset within the chapter and across the Global Digital Hub.

  • Lead Business Process Management as a center of excellence by establishing process governance principles, maintaining proper documentation, and partnering with other Subchapter Leads and RSS organizations to align on strategic priorities, accelerate decision-making, ease bottlenecks, and maximize business impact.

Who you are:

We are looking for upbeat, dynamic individuals who are highly involved and passionate about digital campaigns and willing to learn more about digital campaign management. As a Subchapter Lead, you are a person who enjoys teamwork and has the ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.

You are a proactive, innovative problem-solver with a focus on sustainable and scalable solutions. You love to stay abreast of the latest digital updates in order to provide partners with cutting-edge digital capabilities, being fully aware of the most current digital trends.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience in digital operations in large organizations, agencies, or start-ups and 3+ years in people development, coaching, and leadership.

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken; additional languages a plus), with proven ability to navigate complex, multicultural, highly matrixed environments and to engage effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated project and change management capabilities and end-to-end accountability, combining big-picture impact understanding with the ability to engage others for successful outcomes.

  • Innovative, analytical problem-solver with a growth mindset (experimentation, continuous learning, feedback), quick to learn new technologies, dynamic and flexible with different tools, and focused on sustainable, scalable process improvements.

  • Detail-oriented, well organized, efficient in time management, able to work under pressure, manage complex issues, and operate independently while maintaining strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
