Responsibilities:
- Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments to solve problems based on practice and precedent
- Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems
- Requires working knowledge and work experience involving more complicated concepts and procedures
- Broadens capabilities and continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers
- Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
- Has some discretion to vary from established practices and procedures
- May train new team members and provide input to employee performance evaluations
- Requires expanded conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within own job discipline including substantial knowledge about practical applications
- Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
- Provides informal guidance to new team members
- Solves problems in straightforward situations
- Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
- Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
- Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; third-level qualification in Polymer, Biomedical, Mechanical, Design Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience: 4+ years in new product introduction, manufacturing, quality, or process engineering, preferably in catheter manufacturing
- Skills: Strong project management, cross-functional communication, detail orientation, and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D/3D), Green Belt certification in Lean or Six Sigma preferred
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with catheter manufacturing processes (extrusion, molding, balloon forming, braiding, packaging, assembly)
