
Transition Services Specialist (Oak Harbor)
Job Description

Job Summary:
The Transition Services Specialist supports students and young adults with disabilities, typically ages 14–22, as they prepare for and transition into competitive integrated employment. This role delivers transition and employment services in Washington State through county contracts, including Job Foundations and School to Work, and through the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) contract, in partnership with schools, families, employers, and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).

Wage: $21.00/hr
Program: 16
Locations: Island County
Shifts: Monday-Friday (30-40 hours per week)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check
Licensing and Certifications:
- Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid license (paid by SA)
- Current driver license, car, and car insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social services or a closely related field,
- 1 year of previous experience in the social services
